Congratulations to Montgomery High School student Susan Pierce for winning First Place, Best in Class, and Best of Show in Thematic Art at the San Diego County Fair! Also to the Student Showcase Donated Award winners Sophia Bobis and Daniel Gochicoa and the 26 first place winners from teacher Lynette Young-Golding!

Eastlake High School – Show Choir

Eastlake High School Show Choir presents FINAL BOW on Thursday, May 24th, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Eastlake High School Ruth Chapman Performing Arts Center (1120 Eastlake Parkway, Chula Vista, CA 91915)

Tickets are $13 at the door and $8 for students and seniors. Free admission for staff and children under four years old.

Rancho del Rey Middle School Spring Choral Concert is Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at Rancho del Rey Middle School Cultural Arts Center (1174 East J Street, Chula Vista, CA 91910)

Featuring performances of a variety of choral music including classical, spirituals, pop and jazz by the RDRM Choir and Harmonia. Also featuring a showcase of special student performances and guest choir, the Casillas Elementary School Comet Harmonics.

10th Annual DMS

2018 District Digital Media Showcase was Thursday, May 3rd, 2018 at 6 p.m.  Location: Otay Ranch High School Pavilion (1250 Olympic Parkway, Chula Vista, CA 91913)
Free admission.

The tenth annual Digital Media Showcase featured student work created in digital media classes throughout the Sweetwater Union High School District. Student work in photography, computer art, graphic design, video, and music technology is celebrated. Industry professionals judge the submissions and awards are given to the top entries. Over 500 student works were entered this year!

Rancho del Rey Middle – Drama

The Rancho del Rey Middle School Drama Department presents its spring production, “Us and Them” by David Campton, produced by special arrangement with Dramatic Publishing, on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 6:30PM in the Rancho del Rey Middle School Cultural Arts Center.  The play is a meaningful, timeless, and innovative abstract social commentary that challenges audiences to reflect on how they perceive others.  The evening will include a Showcase of short student performances in Drama classes.  Tickets are $5.00.  Children 5 and under free.
