The Showcase will take place on Thursday, November 17 at 6PM in DeVore Stadium.

San Diego, CA., May 2022. – Congratulations to Ashley Escamilla, an alumna of Bonita Vista High School. Her artwork, Diversidad, won 1st Place at the Congressional Art Award, CA-51st District, with the Hon. Juan Vargas. Her artwork will be displayed for one year at the Cannon Tunnel of the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. Teacher: Ed Lim.

San Diego, CA., June 2022. – Congratulations to Giovanna Sanchez, an alumna of Bonita Vista High School. Her artwork, Piñata, won 1st Place at the Congressional Art Award, CA-53rd District, with the Hon. Sara Jacobs. Her artwork will be displayed for one year at the Cannon Tunnel of the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. 2nd Place: Lili Mancilla, Untitled. 3rd Place: Paola Castillo, News. Additionally, the artwork of 16 Bonita Vista High School students is on display at the San Diego History Center in Balboa Park. Teacher: Ed Lim.
