District’s 22nd Annual StringFest is Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Sweetwater High School Gymnasium (2900 Highland Avenue, National City, CA 91950) Featuring hundreds of student performers! District String Orchestra directed by Jennifer Opdahl, District Symphonic Orchestra directed by Greg Caldera and Maren Glover, and the Combined Middle and High School Orchestra directed by guest conductor Mr. Michael Gerdes. General admission is $5 at the door.
Participating Schools: CPH, CPM, CVH, CVM, ELH, ELM, HTH, HTM, MVH, MVA, OLH, ORH, and SYH.

Chula Vista High School – SCPA presents “Mary Poppins” February 28 – March 2 at 7:00 p.m., March 8 & 9 at 7:00 p.m., and March 10 at 2:00 p.m. Location: Chula Vista High Jack Tygett Performing Arts Center. Tickets are available for pre-sale online at www.CVSCPA.org for $5 students / $10 adults; At the door for $7 students / $12 adults.

San Ysidro High Mariachi Program presents Valentine’s Day Mariachi Concert on Thursday, February 8th, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at the San Ysidro High Dr. Maida Torres-Stanovik Performing Arts Center (5353 Airway Rd, San Diego, CA 92154). Featuring special guests: Greater San Diego Chamber Orchestra, Dr. Angela Yeung, Javier Rodriguez, and Mariachi Juvenil de San Diego. Tickets are $5 pre-sale and $7 at the door.
