Mariachi Spring Concert – 2023

Mariachi Spring Concert is Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 6:30pm.

Location: Otay Ranch High School – Pavillion
(1250 Olympic Pkwy, Chula Vista, CA 91913)

Featuring SUHSD’s middle and high school students. The concert is free of charge this year and it is open to parents and families.

Participating Schools: Bonita Vista High School, Chula Vista High School, Montgomery High School, Montgomery Middle School, National City Middle School, Southwest High School, Southwest Middle School, Sweetwater High School, and San Ysidro High School.

The Sweetwater Union High School District’s 28th Annual StringFest begins tomorrow Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at Chula Vista High School from 1 pm to 5:30 pm and on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Olympian High School from 1 pm to 5:30 pm.

Featuring hundreds of our talented student performers! (This event is open to students only.)

District Honor Band – 2023

The SUHSD District Honor Band Concert will be this Saturday, February 4th, 2023 at 6:30pm

Location: Chula Vista High School – Jack Tygett Performing Arts Center
820 Fourth Avenue, Chula Vista, CA 91911

Honor Band Tickets: Each student musician received two complimentary tickets for this performance. There will be no tickets sold at the door.

It features the finest middle and high school Honor Band students. These are auditioned groups, including the best players selected to rehearse and perform under the direction of two special guest conductors for an enriching musical experience.

District Orchestra Winter Concert – 2022

The District Orchestra Winter Concert was amazing! The Concert was held on Tuesday, December 6th at Eastlake High School.

We would like to thank all the teachers, parents, and staff for all their help and support. We would like to congratulate every student for all the great performances!

2022 Southwestern College Showcase - 55th Annual Band Pageant
The 2022 Southwester College Showcase highlighting the bands of the Sweetwater Union High School District for its 55th Annual Band Pageant is tomorrow!

The Showcase will take place on Thursday, November 17 at 6PM in DeVore Stadium.

Presale tickets – $5.00 (plus a $0.50 online processing fee.)
All online sales will close 24 hours before event, November 16th.
