  • Maytime Band Review

    Restoring a tradition: Moving Forward. Presented by the Maytime Band Review Association. Saturday, October 15th, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.

    Parade starts in front of Sweetwater High School (30th & Highland Ave. in National City), proceed north, left on 16th, end at D Ave. Awards Ceremony & Festival at Kimball Park.

    Participating SUHSD Bands:

    • Castle Park High School “Trojan Brigade”
    • Eastlake High School “Titan Regiment”
    • Olympian High School “Eagle Band & Guard”

  • Bonita Vista Middle School – Music

    Special needs students are learning music at Bonita Vista Middle with Mrs. Amy Cruz. Students in music class create special sound.

  • Summer Theatre Institute Information

    The Sweetwater Summer Theatre Institute presents LEGALLY BLONDE The Musical.

    July 5 – 8, 9:00am – 5:00pm (No rehearsal July 4th)
    July 11-15, 9:00am – 5:00pm
    July 16, 1:00am – 5:00pm (Saturday) Costume Parade, mandatory rehearsal.
    July 18 -22, 4:30pm – 9:00pm
    July 23, 9:00am – 5:00pm (Saturday)
    July 25 & 26, 4:30pm – 9:00pm
    Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Performance: July 27-29, 5:30pm – 9:30pm (7:00pm Show) & Saturday Matinee Performance: July 30, 12:30pm – 9:30pm (2:00pm Show, 5:00pm Strike, 6:30-9:00pm Cast Party)

    5/10 @ BVH (Bolles theater) 4:30 – 6:30pm

    6/9 @ SYH Call-backs 9:00am – 1:00pm

    Online sign ups took place from April 15 – May 24. Acceptance letters were emailed to students on May 26.
